EDUWEBTV Training Programme

Have you ever heard of EDUWEBTV?
For your information EduwebTV is the official webtv of the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.
It's the first project of its kind in the world! Bridging the digital divide is perhaps the most important factor in ensuring that education reaches every fraction of society. The ministry embarked on EduwebTV to replace and to improve the delivery of TV Pendidikan, which was broadcasted on TV.

With eight channels all together i.e Berita, Akademik, Rencana, Wawancara, Kurikulum, Interaktif, Siaran Langsung and the latest is Panduan, teachers nowadays are able to apply relevant video clippings to reinforce their lessons in the classroom. EduwebTV also promotes self-learning among students. Students can access the videos and the day's homework from the website by logging on with a password created by the teacher. The students can hand over their homework via email or using conventional exercise book.

The website is WWW.EDUWEBTV.COM

My hubby and I were involved in this programe since 2008 and 2009. My hubby, Mohamed was one of the EDUWEBTV trainers (and also one of the master trainers for TTT - Train The Trainers programme) while I was one of the facilitators. We both worked together and with other trainers as well to train about 10,000 teachers nationwide, giving them hands-on training on how to use the EDUWEBTV effectively.

In total my hubby and I have trained about 360 teachers in 12 training sessions across Semenanjung Malaysia, including school teachers in Johor, Melaka, Pahang, Kedah and Negeri Sembilan.
